National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

By connecting people with disabilities to vital community resources, the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) fosters greater independence and inclusion. The Commonwealth Government’s NDIS represents a new approach to disability support in Australia, designed to provide tailored assistance and improve long-term outcomes for people with disabilities.

Our team is committed to supporting individuals with disabilities by assisting in the planning process and ensuring all plans are implemented effectively, as expected by you. We do this because our experience has told us that when people with disabilities have more time with family, friends and caring professionals, they have an improved quality of life.
What ACCA professionals will do for you:
Access & planning assistance
- Identify your needs and identify your eligibility for NDIS.
- Support you throughout the application process.
- Listen to your needs so we can build the services around them.
- Outline your goals so that we aim for the same target, together.
- Create a strategy with you so that we don’t miss anything important.
Plan Implementation
- Work together to ensure you gain the right critical support services at the right time.
- Navigate the broader disability sector to connect you with those in your local community.
- Improve equipment at home and your personal skills to help build your confidence.
- Coordinate your travel and transport needs as we embark on your journey together.
- Celebrate with you as you take up a fresh set of activities, sport, and create new friendships.
By creating an environment of mutual support and companionship, we aim to enrich the lives of those we care for.
If you are eligible for NDIS, you will receive funding to work on your plan immediately, so that you can increase your capacity at school, home, manage health conditions and to complete daily living tasks at home, ensuring you live the life you want, how you want.
What is the National Disability Insurance Scheme?
If you are the carer of a child under nine years of age with a disability, or you are over 65 and require support, contact ACCA to discuss your options and how we might be able to help. As of 1 July 2023, the age for children to be included in NDIS increased from seven to nine years of age.
