Day Care
ACCA provides centre-based Aged Day Care programs for clients. Some of our Aged Day Care programs are Dementia specific. Our Dementia specific program is known as the MingShi Dementia Day Care Program and is a Dementia specific service and is recognised as such by Alzheimer’s Australia.
As a member of our day centres you will also get a social support worker to assist you and support you to access other services required.
While the Australian Government funds the Commonwealth Home Support Programme service providers so they can deliver affordable services to you, there is a fee for each service. The amount you contribute depends on your income and the type and number of services you require. What you pay is discussed and agreed upon with you. The rate is set before you receive the relevant services.
At ACCA Aged Care Programs we provide a variety of activities with a focus on wellness and enablement and aim to enhance the general health, wellbeing and community engagement to local residents to reduce social isolation in a culturally appropriate manor. ACCA runs a number of activities throughout the year both at various locations in and around Sydney.
To be eligible for the service you must either be registered with My Aged Care for the Commonwealth Home Support Program, be a Home Care Package recipient or pay for the service individually. Do not worry we can assist you to register with My Aged Care and help you understand the Commonwealth Home Support Program and Home Care Package Program to decide what is right for you.
