On Saturday 3rd February 2018, 48 members of the Western Sydney Mandarin Seniors Group set off from Parramatta to Fitzroy Falls in the Southern Highlands for a day of adventure and sight-seeing.
The group left Parramatta at 9.30am and by late morning was already at Fitzroy Falls to take in the breathtaking scenery. The beautiful scenery included the spectacular waterfall (Fitzroy Falls) located in the Morton National Park. After spending an hour in Fitzroy Falls the group left for lunch at Juliana’s Restaurant in Wollongong.
Thereafter, the group proceeded to a seafood distributor in Oak Flats to buy abalone and other types of fresh seafood before leaving for home with pleasant memories of their trip. Accompanying the seniors in the trip were President Shirley Chan, Secretary John Hugh and directors Maria Wang and Xiali Zhu.
