The ACCA Western Centre Seniors Group made a day trip to the Nan Tien Temple in Wollongong on 8th October. The seniors were joined by ACCA President Ms Shirley Chan, directors Mrs Helena Chai and Mr Louis So.
As the largest Buddhist temple in the southern hemisphere, Nan Tien Temple is renowned for its magnificent architectural design and surrounding natural beauty. The seniors felt relaxed as they left the hustle and bustle behind while walking in the peaceful and idyllic environment.
The last stop of the day was a visit to an abalone factory in Wollongong where the seniors were introduced to the farming of abalone and had the chance to purchase quality and fresh abalone.
