Visit by MPs to Surry Hills office

On 25 February 2017 ACCA President and directors hosted an afternoon tea for several State Members of Parliament.

The five MPs - Mark Coure (Oatley), Parliamentary Secretary for Transport and Infrastructure, Bruce Notley-Smith (Coogee), Alex Greenwich (Sydney), Damien Tudehope (Epping), and The Hon Ernest Wong MLC  were invited to meet the 2017 newly elected directors, Council members, seniors group leaders, and the senior management team.

After President Shirley Chan formally welcomed the guests with a warm speech the MPs introduced themselves and shared their experience of working with the Chinese community in Sydney.  

There was also a brief power-point presentation on the core business of ACCA as well as the recent activities ACCA had been involved with. The MPs were also given a tour of the premises.

On behalf of the Board of Directors President Shirley Chan thanked the guests for taking time out from their busy schedules to visit ACCA.
