On 2^nd June 2017, the Northern Seniors Group held its annual open day in Pennant Hills Leisure and Learning Centre to promote the group’s social activities to the local community.

The day began with classical Cantonese singing by Ms Huang Bi Bao (黄碧寶) followed by a Chinese word riddle game.

There was also a musical performance by our guests, Mr Patrick Yau, Ms Peggy Chan, Mr Albert Kwong and Mr Peter Look. The 4 talented artists brought their musical instruments to perform a classic string quartet for the participants. 

Thereafter, President Ms. Shirley Chan gave a speech, informing the participants about the variety of services that ACCA can provide to the seniors.

The day continued with more song and dances by Patrick, Connie and Sandy, singing traditional Cantonese Opera and also Cantonese pop songs. 

The day concluded with a lucky draw and a dim sum luncheon.

The event was attended by more than 70 participants. The group leaders will encourage the seniors to be socially active and engage in healthy activities and exercises.

Apart from President Ms. Shirley Chan, Secretary Mr. John Hugh and Assistant Secretary Mr. Eric Wu also attended the event.
