On 3^rd of February 2017, the members of Northern Seniors Group celebrated the Chinese New Year together at Pennant Hills Leisure and Learning Centre.

Friends gathered here today bringing all sorts of festive sweets and snacks to share with the group. The day was filled with games and activities carefully planned by our senior group volunteers. Participants really enjoyed working together and trying very hard to solve the riddles! At the end of the games, everyone was given a festive red packet. It was an incredible morning of fun and laughter!

After the celebration, the group moved to Eastern City Restaurant for lunch. It was an incredible way to start the year!

The following week, the group went on a day tour to the beautiful Watson’s Bay. It was a hot sunny day, but the group enjoyed a comfortable ferry ride from Circular Quay to Watson’s Bay. Under the cool gazebo, the group engaged in Tai chi exercises and started singing festive New Year songs together.
